With the CVBuilder, you systematically and structurally record the resumes of your employees and can generate uniform PDFs using Corporate Templates. This creates consistent resumes for offers, tenders and pitches. Additionally, authorized persons can access skills, projects and career paths at any time.

Yes, ideally each employee is responsible for their own CV. Admins can also make changes if needed.

Use the integrated preview. It's based on your company's PDF template and shows you in real-time how your CV looks (without page breaks). For the final display with all breaks and exact layout, we still recommend a test PDF or opening an existing version.

Yes, in the Large or Enterprise package multilingual CV creation is possible. Content can be maintained per language and used in the respective PDF export.

Test PDFs are marked with a watermark and show that this is not an official document – e.g. for preview or correction.

• Within your company: Only people with appropriate CV authorization
• Outside your company: nobody

The system administrators of avega IT AG have technical access to the database, but cannot see content. There is no super admin access to customer accounts. For support emergencies, we set up an avega support user. This is visible in your user management and can be removed again after support is completed.

Yes. We place the highest value on the security of your data.

• Encryption: All data is stored encrypted both during transmission (TLS) and at rest.
• Access control: Access is exclusively via clearly defined roles and permissions. Every action is logged and traceable.
• Backups: Regular automatic backups are created and stored securely, so your data can be restored in an emergency.
• Data centers: Our infrastructure runs in certified data centers with high physical and organizational security standards.

You can request a new password on the login page. Depending on the package, a corporate password is used. In this case, the password cannot be reset via the login page – please contact your internal IT department or the responsible admin in your company. For other problems, our support will be happy to help you.

Because resumes are individually adapted for different purposes – e.g. by hiding irrelevant projects or skills. To keep everything traceable, versioning is needed.

1. When creating a PDF, you will be prompted for versioning.
2. You can copy the original and customize it.
3. Or you copy an existing version (e.g., for a new industry or role).

By copying the version – new entries from the original are taken over, individual adjustments are retained.

Yes, you can deactivate content per version – without deleting it from the original.

Yes, you can maintain any number of versions – for example for different target groups, industries or languages.

• Small: For small teams – central data capture, CV preview, standard layout
• Medium: More design freedom – individual layout (including 2h design), access control, extended search
• Large: For more complex requirements – multiple templates, multilingual CVs, certificates
• Enterprise: For large organizations – all Large features + individual interfaces and integration

The Medium package includes 2 hours of individual design consultation and implementation. Additional hours can be booked for a fee.

Yes, a change is possible at any time. All data is preserved.

Yes, in the Large or Enterprise package you can maintain multiple layouts – e.g. for different brands or roles.

In the Medium or Large package, the user interface (colors, logos, terms) can be adapted to your corporate design.

In the admin area you can assign user roles and control who can edit, approve or only read CVs. The rights can be flexibly adapted to your organizational structure (from Medium package).

Yes, if you have the appropriate permissions, you can also view and edit other people's CVs – ideal for HR or project managers.

Yes, continuing education can be recorded with all packages. In the Large package it is possible to add your own PDFs of certificates, continuing education or internal training to the CV.

The admin area offers filter and search functions by skills, projects, roles or status. This way you can quickly find the right people for internal or external projects.

No, CVs may not be kept indefinitely after departure. For employee personal data, including resumes, the same retention and deletion periods apply as for other employment documents. This means:

• Relevant personnel documents are kept during employment and up to 5 years after departure.
• Data that is no longer relevant (e.g. old application documents, previous work certificates) must be sorted out and deleted no later than after the end of the probationary period. Long-term archiving of CVs without legal basis is not permitted.

Complete change tracking is not included. However, versioning serves as structured traceability for CV changes.

Currently this is only possible to a limited extent – however, we continuously review new functions for quality control. If needed, you can control this via guidelines or onboarding processes.

Yes, a REST API is available for Enterprise customers. This allows CVs to be automatically read, synchronized or exported. Documentation on request.

After a joint kickoff, we clarify your requirements, check technical framework conditions and create a quote. Implementation and testing are done iteratively in close cooperation.
